Don Montgomery is a registered Architect with a solid background in construction and design.
Donald is originally from New England where he received his construction and architectural training He holds an Associates Degree in Building Construction Technology, an Architectural Engineering Associates Degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. Don's architectural training was sandwiched around service in the U.S. Army where he was a Commissioned Officer in the Special Forces.
Donald worked with various Architectural firms, including Royal Barry Wills Associates, both before and after his service in the Army. His responsibilities included complete job drawings, details, client correspondence and job supervision.
After several productive years designing, renovating and building in New England, Don partnered with Murray Rust to form what was to become Montgomery & Rust, Inc.
Don is a Registered Architect licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
Don is a member in good standing of the American Institute of Architects (AIA.)
Donald built and now owns and operates, with a partner, The Hartwood Restaurant and its adjunct, Whispers Pub. He also owns and operates an architectural artifacts retail shop called The Building Arts.
