The Village at Washington's Landing
Built on a Brownfield site (formerly slaughterhouses and foundaries) The Village of Washington's Landing consists primarily of groups of townhouse buildings. The site is on an island in the Allegheny River just upstream from and within site of Downtown Pittsburgh.
Convenience to Downtown shopping, theaters, restaurants and businesses were strong attaractions to this project. Added to this were amenities such as a riverfront park with a hiking/biking trail that connects to other city parks and the downtown area.
